My name is Cassidy and I graduated with my MSW from The Catholic University of American in Washington DC.
You already have the tools inside of you to overcome even your most difficult circumstances. Let me help you find them so you can tap into your truest potential. In the session, I utilize both the Humanistic and Strengths-Based perspectives to assist you with this process. By revisiting your childhood and any significant life events in a safe setting you can overcome these negative narratives you have created about yourself. This in turn makes space for new energy to create a dialogue to empower you instead of creating more barriers.
I specialize in treating CBT and DBT strategies that will assist in identifying and restructuring your maladaptive coping strategies and increase your ability to withstand future obstacles.
I have experience in a variety of different settings and with a wide range of disorders and age ranges. My focus primarily is on adolescents and young adults.

Rhonda earned her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington, DC. I’m the Owner and Founder of Choice Clinical Services (CCS) and a practicing therapist on staff. I started CCS to create a space where I could provide ethical and evidenced based mental health care in a safe environment but with a flexible schedule that allowed me to also meet the needs of my family. I’m the momma of two neurodiverse children and believe strongly in advocacy and speaking your truth loudly. I bring my real self into my practice as a therapist. I use real talk, which is empathic but challenging when it needs to be. I believe that therapy is a partnership based on trust and honesty and my hope is that this is what we are providing at CCS.
