Abigail Okyere-Boateng is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. She is experienced in managing patients with substance abuse and behavioral concerns including anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and other mental health concerns. Abigail earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and Master of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain University.
While working with clients with substance abuse, the passion to help patients with mental health problems also grew especially seeing how long they had to wait for their mental health concerns to be addressed. She was inclined to pursue her Post-Masters Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health.
Abigail provides a welcoming, compassionate, collaborative environment for patients and colleagues to thrive by applying her knowledge, based on evidence and expertise to devise a therapeutic environment and individualized patient management plans.
