Whatever life phase you may be in, you might have questions such as, “What’s next for me?”, “How can I feel better?”, “How can I understand my partner better?”, “How can I improve my relationships?”, and “Why do I feel so lonely?”. You have the desire to explore and find the answers to these questions, but you don’t know where to begin. In my 5 years of experience working with clients, I have learned that the process of sharing your story; your innermost thoughts, emotions, and experiences, out loud and hearing them reflected back to you can lead to some of the most profound insights that inspire change. My aim is to collaborate with you to create this experience. The answers to your questions lie within you. As your therapist, I will provide a safe space to help you discover the answers that you have been looking for. My name is Amber (she/her), and I enjoy working with adults and couples of various identities and diverse cultural backgrounds. I work with clients who are experiencing a wide array of life challenges from anxiety disorders, trauma, family conflicts, life transitions, relationship changes, and more. For couples preparing for marriage, I use an evidence-based assessment called PREPARE/ENRICH that allows you to identify areas in your relationship that can be strengthened. Through this assessment, our aim together is to help establish a strong foundation for a healthy marriage. You have the power to create a fulfilling life, spend time investing in yourself to find out how you can make it happen.
