Christen Yassin has been in clinical practice for over 15 years working with individuals, couples, and families. Christen has worked with a wide range of populations such as individuals with bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, ADHD, conduct disorders, and/or personality disorders. Christen has a specialty in working with children and families. She is a licensed social worker in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and is working toward obtaining licensure in the District of Columbia and Virginia. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, play therapy, filial therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapeutic (DBT) practices. Christen graduated magna cum lade with her Masters in Social Work from The University of Pennsylvania in the advanced standing program completing a two year degree program in one year. Christen was born and raised in Maryland but started her career in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She recently returned to her hometown to raise her two year old son amongst family.
