Lauren is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) who has spent her career working with children and families of all ages and stages of life. She specializes in helping young children, preteens, adolescents and young adults who are struggling with difficult life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, social skills and mood dysregulation. Lauren takes a cognitive behavioral and client-centered approach to her therapeutic practice intended to drive meaningful growth and change. Her goal of treatment is to empower her clients to promote healthy and adaptive coping strategies and skills.
Lauren earned her Masters in Clinical Social Work from Catholic University. After beginning her career in therapeutic foster care in Washington, DC, Lauren spent 5 years in a K-12 school-based setting focusing on crisis intervention, behavioral support before moving into individual and group therapy.
